Hello, I’m Marie, and I warmly welcome you to my corner of the web. I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself and share the unique journey that brought me to Hungary from the United States, where my Filipino heritage meets my Hungarian home.
My Background
I am a proud Filipino, born and raised in the Philippines, where the rich tapestry of culture, family, and delicious cuisine deeply influenced my upbringing. My roots are a blend of tradition and modernity, and I cherish the values and flavors of my homeland.
A Love Story Across Continents
My life took a wonderful turn when I met my amazing Hungarian partner in the United States. Our love story transcended borders and cultures, and it ultimately led me to Hungary, a land known for its enchanting landscapes, history, and a warm and welcoming people.
The Journey to Hungary
Leaving behind the familiar comforts of the United States was a significant step, but it was also an adventure filled with excitement and anticipation. The move to Hungary allowed me to experience a new chapter in my life, where I could embrace both my Filipino heritage and my husband’s Hungarian culture.
Bringing Filipino Flavors to Hungary
One of the most rewarding aspects of my journey has been sharing the flavors of the Philippines with Hungary especially with my in laws who have never tried Filipino food and since then I’ve been on a mission to introduce authentic Filipino products to this beautiful country. It’s my way of bringing a taste of my homeland to my newfound home so, when Cindy and her Husband, the previous owner of Pabili, decided to embark on a new journey, we couldn’t passed on the opportunity to continue the amazing journey they’ve started.
